5 inch gauge Stirling 8 foot Single

A finely built 5 inch gauge Stirling 8 foot single, comprising a well-advanced chassis complete with axle pump and lubricator; platework for the achingly beautiful splashers; erected tender frames with horns, keeps and machined wheelsets, and a silver soldered copper boiler.

Machining has been crisply done, fit and finish of valve gear including eccentric straps and sheaves is good.

Boiler platework has been neatly flanged, solder penetration looks good.
