A 5 inch gauge "Sweet Pea" 0-4-0ST, recently arrived with us as a part exchange.
The boiler is a commercially made CE-marked job by Blackgates Engineering. Last run regularly before the lockdown, the engine has had recent hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued.
The engine steams freely and runs well in forwards gear, slightly choppy in reverse. All water feeds and lubricator work reliably, regulator passes very slightly. There's some video of it running on the rolling road here.
Paintwork is more functional than decorative - a repaint over winter would be a worthwhile project and would transform the engine.
