5 inch gauge Walschaert's gear 0-4-0 chassis

A well-advanced 5 inch gauge 0-4-0 tank engine, well-made underneath the muck but obviously untended in years. Motionwork is fairly stiff but without tight spots - it simply wants stripping, cleaning, oiling and reassembling to make a decent running chassis. Boiler is mainly silver soldered, with nutted and calked stays in the firebox.

It looks to be based on a "Chub", there are pictures of several in the archive to give you an idea of what it will look like finished.
