7 1/4 inch gauge Class 10 battery electric and driving truck

A 7 1/4 inch gauge BR Class 10 0-6-0 battery-electric shunter with driving truck.

The locomotive has two batteries powering a single 24V Parvalux motor with chain drive to the back axle, Mtroniks controller and handset. 

The wooden body is well-detailed, including interior detailing in the cab. Paintwork is to a utilitarian standard, the iconic wasp stripes on the front and back panels neatly done.

The locomotive is fitted with fore and aft running lights and an effective sound card. There's a button for a prototypical – somewhat feeble - bell, the previous owner has also added a strident two-tone horn.

Based on a Ride On Railways tipper wagon chassis, the driving truck contains a 12V battery to power the locomotive ancillaries and a compressor. Both locomotive and tender are air-braked, there's an aperture to pipe this through to the train if required.
