7 1/4 inch gauge GWR passenger coach

A 7 1/4 inch gauge Aristocraft GWR non-corridor first/third class coach.

The fibreglass body is mounted on a welded steel chassis, with full length quick detach steel footrests.

The coach has been fitted with vacuum equipment, comprising:

• electric vacuum pump with limit switch
• reservoir
• vacuum gauge
• driver's brake valve
  

It requires a 12 volt battery - we tested it using a generic sealed gel type, widely available on the internet.

One bogie is braked; the coach could also be used to provide braking for a train, it is through-piped for vacuum.
