7 1/4 inch gauge air-braked driving truck

A 7 1/4 inch gauge driving truck; robustly constructed it weighs in at just under a hundredweight.

Effective air brakes are fitted, with an electric pump and battery housed under the seat, a cylinder operating brake shoes on all wheels.

The driver's brake valve is mounted alongside a coal/tool tray at the front with an air pressure gauge for the compressor, along with another gauge - currently unused - which could be used to show train pipe pressure.
