7 1/4 inch gauge AME "Xcaliber"

A commercially built 7 1/4 inch gauge battery-electric shunter by AME Trains, a robustly constructed locomotive with substantial steel chassis and gear driven wheelsets.

The locomotive is fitted with a pair of 24 volt motors, with Mtronics controller and remote handset. There are a pair of horns fitted beneath the chassis.

Fitted with quick detach battery terminals allowing rapid disassembly for transport, although supplied without batteries. Those shown in the pictures are the workshop set we use for testing locomotives, it will require a pair of widely available XV24MF or similar leisure batteries.
