A large 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge battery-electric shunter, 24V electrics with a new pair of 60Ah leisure batteries just fitted - controller is by Parkside with a remote control and sound card.
We ran this one shortly after testing the Duchess last week - whilst it doesn't have quite the same platform appeal, I suspect it's got at least as much grunt at the drawbar!
Complete with a comfortable, if aesthetically challenging driving truck.
The locomotive weighs 110Kg with its batteries installed - just about a two man lift (although you wouldn't want to go far with it).
