7 1/4 inch gauge BR Standard Class 2 2-6-2T

A 7 1/4 inch gauge BR Standard Class 2 tank locomotive, recently arrived in part exchange for a larger engine. It's spent the last ten years running around at the owner's club. Built by a professional engineer, it's come to us in good running order.

All welded steel superheated boiler, 100psi working pressure, feed by twin injectors. Cast iron cylinders with piston valves actuated by Walschaert's gear with screw reverser in the cab. Mechanical lubricator. Fit and finish of the motionwork is good throughout, the engine runs nicely on air on our rolling road.

Complete with a purpose built transport frame mounted on castors.
