7 1/4 inch gauge "Bridget" 0-4-2T

A particularly well built 7 1/4 inch gauge 0-4-2T to Ken Swan's excellent "Bridget" design.

The work of an experienced model engineer whose father had been responsible for several locomotives, starting with a "Fayette" completed in the early 1930s and including a "Princess Royal" and "Hielan Lassie". His son continued the famliy tradition with a 5 inch gauge large Prairie and the Bridget.

The engine has been in one family's ownership from new, kept on display in the house in recent years - it's evidently had regular use in the past, maintained to a good standard.

Boiler has had a recent hydraulic and steam test with new certification issued. The engines runs very well in both directions with crisp, well-defined exhaust beats.
