7 1/4 inch gauge "Bridget" 0-4-2T

A well-built 7 1/4 inch gauge 0-4-2T to Ken Swan's excellent "Bridget" design, an older engine which, whilst having some wear to the paintwork, is one of the nicest running examples we've driven - there's some video of it running outside the works here.

It's recently come to us in part exchange for a traction engine. The boiler has club history, it's had recent hydraulic and steam tests in the workshop here with new certification issued, with little work required other than a new, red-lined pressure gauge and pair of safety valves - the originals were marginal on accumulation.

The engine is free-steaming, runs quietly - the loudest thing is the clicking of the lubricator ratchet - and notches up close to mid gear.
