7 1/4 inch gauge Class 20 battery-electric

A 7 1/4 inch gauge Class 20 battery electric, recently arrived in company with a 5 inch gauge Class 31 from the family of a long-time customer of ours, an experienced model engineer.

A large, powerful locomotive propelled by four Fasco 24 volt 2809-860-010 motors with Mtroniks DCI25-24 controller and handset. There is an Mtroniks Digisound 602 sound card fitted.

There are running lights at either end - one set work, the other are currently not connected.

Fitted with a single battery for lights and sound card - it will require two more for the main motor drive, the last owner shared a pair between this and the Class 31.
