7 1/4 inch gauge diesel shunter

A 7 1/4 inch gauge petrol-engined 0-6-0 shunter, which came in with a large collection of steam engines - mainly locomotives and stationary engines - and workshop machinery.

Not run in many years - and never in its previous custodian's ownership - it will, without doubt, require work to recommission. That said, it appears complete and pushes along - we wouldn't expect it to be be too difficult to get going with some fresh petrol and a bit of determination!

Built on a steel chassis with all metal bodywork and fitted with a four stroke motorcycle engine/gearbox unit, it's a large, heavy locomotive. Given its size, we'd expect this to be a usefully powerful locomotive on the larger garden railway or club track.
