7 1/4 inch gauge Feldbahn 0-4-0, works number 1365

A "time capsule" Feldbahn 0-4-0, a factory-built engine we delivered new in 2014 to a gentleman who, sadly, lived to see it steamed only twice. Bequeathed to a friend who has never steamed it, the engine came back to us recently in as close to ex-works condition as you can get - it looked brand new when we got it out of the van.

The boiler has had ultrasonic survey and internal inspection (unsurprisingly it looks like new inside), followed by hydraulic and steam tests with new certification issued.

The engine runs as well today as it did nine years ago when Ashley set the valves, filled it with water and put a fire in it for its pre-delivery steam test.

Supplied with handbook, 12 months warranty and starter kit of coal, oil and water treatment - exactly the same as we offer with our new engines.
