7 1/4 inch gauge GWR 11XX 0-4-0T

A 7 1/4 inch gauge GWR 11XX 0-4-0T, we sold this one back in 2021 (there's a listing and video of it running in the archive here). A finely built engine, the work of a Fellow of the Institute of Mechanical Engineers who built it in 1960 to run on his private railway.

It's recently come back in as part exchange against a "Mazeppa", the customer already having built a "General Gordon" from a kit.

In regular use over the last four years, whilst still in club test the boiler has finally reached the end of its useful life after 66 years! There are a multiplicity of pinhole leaks from stays, with several others from flanged seams.
