7 1/4 inch gauge "Hercules" 0-4-0T chassis

A 7 1/4 inch gauge "Hercules" 0-4-0T chassis, to the Dick Simmonds design. Immensely grubby, it runs on air - underneath the muck is a well made chassis.

Complete with twin axle pumps and a set of drawings, missing sheet 7 (boiler, regulator & details - available, along with castings, from Reeves).

A large, powerful engine with robustly proportioned valve gear and generous bearing surfaces, it's ideal for club use. If you need reminding what the finished engine looks like, we sold one last year in a rather eye-popping shade of blue.
