An older engine, it's been serviced with the valves reset, clack cleaned and a new union sleeve fitted on the injector delivery pipe. The boiler has had hydraulic and steam test with new certification issued.
On the rolling road it proved free-steaming and ran well - better in forwards than reverse, with some wear apparent in the axleboxes.
