7 1/4 inch gauge petrol hydraulic shunter

A 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge petrol-hydraulic shunter. It's recently had a new electric start four-stroke engine fitted, coupled to an Eaton hydrostatic transmission giving continuously variable speed in forward and reverse, with chain drive to both axles.

A large, robustly constructed locomotive, weighing in at a little over two hundredweight. Condition could best be described as "working clothes" - not untypical of an industrial diesel.

In the past the locomotive has been fitted with coupling rods and flycranks - decorative only, as the axles are coupled by chains between the frames. These are included, but will require a clean up and repaint.
