Narrow-gauge style 0-4-0 tank locomotive to the popular "Romulus" design. Copper boiler, just tested and certificated until March 2005, fed by twin injectors. The running gear features Hackworth valve gear working slide valves. Mechanical cylinder lubricator mounted on the running board. Cab-operated drain cocks. The locomotive has a screw-down mechanical brake and is fitted for vacuum-braked trains.
This engine requires a general tidy up and some repairs (including a broken spring), but will provide a powerful, easy to drive engine when overhauled.
