7 1/4 inch gauge sit-aside battery-electric 0-4-0

A 7 1/4 inch "minimal gauge" style sit-aside battery-electric locomotive, powered by a single motor, chain-drive to both axles, with 4QD DN0-10 controller and handset.

Complete with a pair of dry-fit batteries, which measure 92% and 85% on our condition meter, along with a small 12 volt battery to power the lights. There is a detachable orange beacon under the seat which showed no sign of life when connected to 12 volts.

Of robust, if simple construction, with steel chassis and timber body, the locomotive runs in both directions, with a mechanical parking brake of rudimentary design and crude construction to stop it rolling away when stationary.
