7 1/4 inch gauge "Tich" 0-4-0T

An older engine, now needing a variety of jobs doing it's offered as a project. The boiler has had a preliminary check over - pumped up to 200psi is remained dry and appeared structurally sound, although with signs of scale at the corners of the foundation ring.

Work required includes:

• Free seized regulator
• Repair/replace broken off water gauge blowdown cock, alternatively fit new gauge complete
• Replace worn clack valves
• Service/replace safety valve
• Remove sheared off washout plug at bottom of backhead and fit new one
• Remove and replace sheared off stud in regulator flange
• Wash out boiler, there is some oil contamination inside (we normally remove by boiling up in situ with washing soda)

The engine appears quite well made in the first place, but suffering for want of maintenance.
