7 1/4 inch narrow gauge sit-in battery-electric shunter

Recently recovered from an industrial unit where it had been stored for many years, a 7 1/4 inch narrow gauge sit-in locomotive.

Built on a steel chassis with chain drive to both axles, there's a countershaft with mechanical brake. Superstructure is largely wooden - dried stored, it's in good condition.

The vintage electrics look like something installed by Faraday, it will require a pair of batteries.

Cab is on the cosy side of spacious - we'd like to say Claire, shown in the pictures, is six foot two and built like a prop forward but, in truth, we can't. So, room for one driver, of modest height and slight build.
