7 1/4 inch narrow gauge Stafford 0-4-0T, works number 1332

A 71/4 inch gauge Stafford 0-4-0ST, works number 1332, supplied new in March 2013 and subject of a full overhaul at our works in 2021, since when the engine has seen little use.

Recently back with us in part exchange for a larger engine, it has been through the works for servicing, when the latest type vacuum brake valve, coupling and connecting rod oil pots, snifting valves and valve chest pressure gauge were fitted.

The boiler has had an inspection off the frames with cladding removed, followed by hydraulic and steam test with new certification issued.

The engine was well-specified when first ordered, including four note chime whistle, gauge glass protector and vacuum brake equipment.

Supplied with handbook, 12 months warranty and starter kit of coal, oil and water treatment - exactly the same as we offer with our new engines.

If required we would be more than happy to include half a day's training at our works on the firing, driving and disposal of the engine for a new owner.
