Arboga UM400 universal machine tool

An Arboga "Universal Machine Tool", their term for what was, effectively, a well-made small milling machine with many accessories available enabling it to undertake a wide range of different machining operations.

A machine we've known for a long time - latterly in the possession of a member of our local model engineering society, before that it was owned by another member who lived six houses down the same street. It was delivered in a wheelbarrow the last time it changed hands!

Arboga were a Swedish company who made hgh quality machine tools for many years. The motor has been replaced on this one with a modern fractional horsepower type, other than that it appears standard.

Complete with fabricated drip tray, maker's handbook, a selection of collets and various tools and accessories.
