Clarkson Beam engine

Clarkson castings for a 1 inch to the foot scale model of an 1846 Sanderson 12hp beam engine, unmachined apart from the flywheel.

The castings are all in iron, apart from the gunmetal eccentric strap.

An elegant design, we've had several of these in over the years - there are pictures in the archive of a particularly good one that we sold some years ago.
