5 inch gauge Class 35 Hymek D7071

A 5 inch gauge Class 35 Hymek from Compass House, recently arrived with us in part-exchange against a 7 1/4 inch gauge 14XX.

Runs in both directions with 4 Lemac 65167-002 12v motors, each directly driving one axle, with a 4QD Professional 120 motor controller and Compass House DSHC1 hand controller.

Commercial soundcard by Magpie Computer Developments, with two-tone electric horns & authentic sampling.

Paintwork well applied in the first place, though showing signs of wear around the buffer beams and missing nameplates. The locomotive will require a pair of 12v batteries.
