Coal-fired Sabre Steam/Roundhouse "Annette"

A Sabre Steam coal-fired conversion of the popular Roundhouse "Lady Anne" design, complete with four wheel tender.

No longer made, it's an interesting development of the more usual gas or spirit-fired version of the locomotive. Without a doubt fiddly to steam - the grate's about the size of a matchbox - but smaller engines have been successfully coal-fired in the past.

Complete with manufacturer's original manual and boiler certification. The engine came in recently in part exchange for a larger locomotive - we haven't tested it (no shovels small enough in the building) although would warranty as sound, same as any of the other, larger engines we sell.
