Cotswold Heritage "Atlas"

An "Atlas" Table engine by Cotswold Heritage, one of their "Premier Range" which went on to include the "Titan" and "Aquarius", it is based on a design by Murdock Aitkin & Co. of Glasgow of around 1840.

Very much the Rolls-Royce of the model stationary engine market, a combination of authentic designs, fine detailing and immaculate built quality (their main concern being aerospace engineering) makes this company's models the nicest commercially built engines we see by some considerable margin.

In excellent condition, the engine turns over freely and runs well on air.
