We launched Feldbahn FC5 in 2016, the first one was built for a customer in Germany and delivered to the International Steam Festival at Le Bouveret that summer (a ten day extravaganza of steam on a magnificent layout, highly recommended if you haven't been). The engine is shown in build opposite, works number 1375.
The other, completed, engine shown, "Lyndon", works number 1387, is finished in RAL6017 green with black frames, including optional hand lined and panelled paintwork.
Supplied ready to run, standard specification includes:
- Vacuum brake equipment - ejector, steam valve, driver's brake valve, vacuum gauge
- Valve chest pressure gauge
- Two TIG-welded stainless steel side tanks, combined capacity 9.6 litres/2.1 imp gallons
- Type 28 whistle and valve

- Cab and tanks panelled in dark green, hand lined in cream
