Four pillar overcrank engine

A four pillar overcrank engine, of freelance design although influenced by mid-nineteenth century prototypes from various manufacturers.

Well made and handsomely finished in pale green with polished brightwork. The engine turns over freely and runs beautifully on air down to low speed, with some wear apparent in the flywheel side big end, eccentric and valve linkage.
