45mm gauge Aster LMS "Jumbo" 2-4-0

Built from a kit, it's either fallen on hard times or was never quite finished in the first place.

It's missing the cab, pressure gauge, and banjo screw from the water feed/bypass manifold block underneath the cab which precluded pressurising the boiler.

Something's gone wrong when mounting the dome, which sits at a vaguely jaunty angle.

That said, quality of the parts present is excellent (as you'd expect from the manufacturer) - the work required to put this one right would be amply rewarded.
