Compound diagonal engine

A prehistoric looking compound diagonal marine engine, it's had a good deal of running over the years and not a few repairs.

An interesting survivor, a model built apparently by somebody with a good working knowledge of the full-size engines. HP cylinder is fitted with prototypically correct piston valve, with slide valve for the LP.

Complete with boiler feed and air pumps, the engine is a detailed representation of an interesting, rarely modelled Victorian design.
