Horizontal twin marine engine

Although described by its previous owner as a marine engine, on account of having been "salvaged from a 12 foot boat" at some time in its past, we have our doubts as to this was what its designer originall intended.

Be that as it may, it's a handsome, finely proportioned engine, fitted with Stephensons reversing gear and obviously intended to do a proper job of work, with split big end and main bearings (we like the double nutted caps, with thin locknuts), slipper crosshead and generously sized bearings.
