Maxwell Hemmens steam roller

A Maxwell Hemmens 1 inch scale coal fired steam roller, an engine we sold back in 2017 when it came to us new and unsteamed from the original owner.

It's recently come back in with a collection of engines. It has been steamed, although paintwork remains in good condition. The steering chains require adjustment and the mechanical lubricator drive link is missing.

Hemmens produced a high quality range of locomotives, traction engines and stationary engines in the 1980s, we've sold a dozen or so over the years.
