"ME" Beam engine

A 1 inch scale "ME" beam engine, an attractive design based on a mid-nineteenth century prototype.

This model has apparently had little running from new - slightly stiff to turn over by hand, it runs on air although with some knocking from the bearings; we'd consider it a light overhaul rather than rebuild.

Complete with water pump and Watt type governor, the engine is attractively painted and mounted on a purpose-made wooden base,
