"ME" beam engine

A well built 1 inch scale "ME" beam engine; nicely painted and mounted on a wooden base, it presents well.

The original design, by George Gentry, dates back to 1914. Revised several times since, handsome proportions and fidelity to full-size engines of the nineteenth century have contributed to its enduring popularity.

Complete with boiler feed pump and geared countershaft, the engine turns over freely and runs on air.
