Model early diesel engine

An interesting model of an early diesel engine, of a type that started to be produced in the late 1890s following Rudolph Diesel's patent of 1895 which described a working, practical engine.

Largely complete, although without any drawings, an interesting project for an experienced builder - we suspect that Diesel's original patent drawings may be helpful!
