Model lathe with copy attachment

An well made model lathe with automatic copying attachment, driven by pawl and ratchet from the main spindle and engaged by a dog clutch providing auto-stop at the end of the cycle.

Built to a scale we estimate to be about 1 1/2 inches to the foot, it's complete with a pedestal-mounted belt driven grinder to the rear - drive to either machine can be selected by a lever moving the drive belt onto the respective pulley.

Something that would make an interesting demonstration piece, driven either by a suitable sized traction engine or possibly a small internal combustion engines - something like a Westbury Centaur.
