Nasmyth vertical engine

A vintage model of a nineteenth century Nasmyth type vertical engine - this one has come to us as part of a large collection of interesting stationary engines, both models and small full size.

A finely made model, of handsome proportions and nice patina - it runs down to low speed on air, with some wear apparent.

The governor belt, of authentic jointed construction, requires either slight shortening or treating with some belt dressing to eliminate slipping.
