A Mamod "William", number 252 of a limited "Golden Jubilee" edition of 500, featuring double-acting cylinders with slide valves rather than the more usual oscillating cylinders.

Well used and immensely grubby, with significant heat damage to the paintwork. Wheels make half a turn before stopping, one connecting rod is missing its retaining nut.
