I've had L&B Manning Wardles in 3 1/2 and 7 1/4 inch gauge in the past, never seen a 2 1/2 inch gauge one before. Although at an early stage of build, work to date on this one is very well done, when completed it will make a pretty engine, ideal size for the top of a bookcase!
Work to date comprises a rolling chassis with water pump and steam brake cylinder fitted, some finely made platework, hand pump fitted into the offside side tank and a boiler barrel along with smokebox.
