Part-built 2 inch Clayton undertype steam wagon

A well-advanced 2 inch scale Clayton wagon to Robin Dyer's popular design. The engine has suffered from poor storage and has a light coating of surface rust - really the whole thing wants dismantling and cleaning before reassembling.

Work to date comprises:

• Part-assembled copper silver-soldered boiler

• Rolling chassis with rubber-tyred wheels, differential, springs, Ackermann steering gear

• Engine with mechanical lubricator, part-built water pump and reversing lever

• Brass water tank

There is a box of parts and castings and a set of the articles detailing construction.

I've had lots of these, part-built and complete ones - pictures in the archive at /products/archive/2274/index.htm. Another of those projects that requires more by way of time than money to complete.
