Part built 2 inch scale Burrell 8nhp DCC SRL "Ex Mayor"

A Burrell 8nhp DCC Scenic Showmans Road Locomotive "Ex-Mayor", built in 2 inch scale using a comprehensive set of works drawings which are included, along with a large quantity of reference photographs of the original engine.

The builder has gone to great lengths to create an accurate model of the prototype, right down to working rear springs. Machining work is crisply done, fit and finish of all parts good. We'd put it at about 70% complete; a worthwhile - possibly unique - project, with the opportunity to complete an exceptionally authentic model.
