Part-built "Minnie"

A well-advanced "Minnie", Len Mason's popular design for a freelance agricultural traction engine.

Work to date comprises:

• Silver soldered copper boiler

• Hornplates machined

• Crankshaft machined, connecting rod fitted

• All gears cut

• Wheels built, front wheels complete with axle

• Valve and pump eccentric straps and sheaves

• Expansion link, die block and eccentric rods

• Weighshaft with lifting links

• Water pump

• Smokebox with chimney base, chimney, smokebox door

• Valve and regulator chests

• Safety valves

• Pair of guide bars

There is a quantity of unmachined castings, including the cylinder block and what is probably the grubbiest copy of "Scale Model Traction Engine building" I've ever seen.
