Part-set 5 inch gauge LMS Duchess kits

A large quantity of parts, some assembled, for a 5 inch gauge ModelWorks LMS "Duchess".

Work to date includes assembly of much of the rolling chassis, including some of the valve gear and inside cylinders

From what we can see there appears to be much of kits 1, 3 and 5 - 11 inclusive, along with a box containing drawings and part-machined valve gear components. In store for some years, some parts have surface rust.

From the same collection as the running Duchess chassis we currently have in, the owner's original plan being to have three variants of the design.

A good start, although with much still to do. Blackgates Engineering have drawings and castings for the Michael Breeze design which are likely to be useful, Model Engineers Laser as always have a plethora of parts available to expedite the build, listed on their website here.
