A 5 inch gauge Ride on Railways "Hercules" battery electric bogie shunter. One of the most popular battery engines we get in, RoR have been building them for years - they're powerful and bullet proof, ideally suited to garden railways with tight radius curves. Powered by a pair of lead-acid batteries with 24 volt, 120 amp 4QD controller, it's easy to dismount the batteries for transport, breaking it down into four easily manageable parts - two batteries, chassis and the steel superstructure - which once reassembled at the track provide good adhesive weight.
