Sieg SX3 Milling machine

A Sieg X3 vertical milling machine, fitted with power feed to the table and including a compound milling vice.

In good condition, for some years this machine lived in our light assembly shop upstairs, where it had light, occasional use. Its features include a good power tapping facility, we tended to use it when the CNC machines downstairs were busy on other things.

An ideal machine for model work, the cast iron column lending rigidity, as well as the ability to reset the Z-datum without losing X & Y position. The Z-axis handwheel falls easily to hand, it's located just below the table rather than requiring a stretch up to the top of the column - a nice feature.
