Steam pump

A small rotative steam pump - a jewel of a thing, our workshop notes record "runs beautifully and pumps water with great vigour" (I think somebody was feeling a bit Shakespearian that day...)

Technically interesting and exceptionally well made, it was awarded a trophy by the Bristol Society of Model and Experiment Engineers in 2014 - there's a copy of the certificate with the pump and a writeup in their journal here.
