Stuart No.9 mill engine

A Stuart No.9 mill engine, an elegant design built to an indifferent standard - mains, big ends and crosshead are all worn, the bedplate has been cracked through.

A worthwhile restoration project, the engine first needs stripping completely - the bedplate could be brazed or silver soldered which, if done carefully, would be invisible under paintwork.
