Stuart-style beam engine

This one has come to us as one of a pair of engines from the late builder's daughter.

Well made, we suspect it used castings from the builder's own patterns, closely following the design of Stuart's beam engine. The engine turns over freely and runs on air, with some wear apparent in the bearings.
